I’ve been a member of various car clubs in East Africa, Europe and the U.S. for many years. In 2015 I co-founded Smokies GT (smokiesgt.org), which currently has over 950 GT owners and has raised over $1.7 million for national and local charities. The craziness of the pandemic changed a lot of lives and our priorities. For me it was a realization that our time is finite. It compelled me to change direction and engage in activities that I am pasionate about - family, technology, design, Porsche, and being socially and ecologically conscious in business. GTDrivershop is the result.

Born into a car-loving family in East Africa, I was mesmerized as a kid by Porsche cars in the East African Safari Rally. When I moved as a teenager to Spain, racing legend James Hunt once waved my friends and me away from his Porsche 911. I always had my sights on someday having my own 911. When I relocated to the U.S. in 2006, the magic and my Porsche journey finally began. I bought a 997 CS in seal gray.
